Put the INTERNATIONAL in your IPM Day by connecting with a sister city who is celebrating IPM Day in another part of the world. In addition to warm international greetings, we suggest that you have a Skype session to introduce your event's speakers, introduce your PMI chapter board members, and briefly explain what your group is doing to recognize the day. You might agree in advance to send each other a small token gift from your region representing your culture (sharing in the appreciation theme for the day) and open your gifts during your Skype sessions.
See the list of organizations below who are interested in connecting with a sister city outside of their country. When we are notified that sister cities have partnered up for next year, we will indicate that the connection has been made on the site and help share advice in making your virtual connection successful.
Use the Sister City Connection Form at the bottom of the page to indicate your organization's interest in connecting with a Sister City. We suggest looking for a good Skype time match (calculated in Greenwich Mean Time) and in similar event audience sizes. It also you to look for cultural and geographic diversity. PMI Chapters, companies, and any other groups honoring IPM Day are eligible to participate.
