Fairchild Semiconductor's Project Management Office has organized an International Project Management Day event. Attendance by their Project Managers and Executives will be held by Webcast to multiple sites. The sites will celebrate with food and stories. New Jersey Department of Transportation

NJDOT will be demonstrating how it has actively pursued enhancements to its efficiencies and productivity through its implementation of a Project Management Improvement Initiative (PMII) and a Project Management Office (PMO). On November 2, 2006, NJDOT will join other organizations throughout the world in celebrating International PM Day by conducting an event sharing how deploying consistent project management practices have enhanced efficiencies at NJDOT.

The event has: 1) Felicitation of PMPs who cleared the exam with flying colors: PMI Pune chapter would be felicitating PMPs who have completed PMP certification with more than 80 2) A panel of successful practicing PMPs sharing their experiences on project management.
